How Does Breathwork Work?
Because the lungs are directly linked to the nervous system, breathwork allows us to regulate the nervous system, communicate safety to the body, and shift into an altered state of awareness, so that we aren’t just thinking about being grounded, joyful, and relaxed- we feel that way.
Breathwork moves us out of a chronic state of fight-or-flight in which we are tensing our body, holding our breath, and repressing our emotions, and supports us to instead gently feel and release the unfelt emotions and stuck energy at the root of our fear, anxiety and loneliness.
Through breathwork we connect with ourselves and tap into deep connection, love and joy.
